Accrington Stanley v Torquay United - 2/3/13
Already approaching Sheffield on the journey to beyond, going to have a trip through my old uni town of Huddersfield en route for nostalgia.
Beautiful sunny day, very un-Accrington like. This is the day we get a result, I can feel it!

i'd like to think we can win today, but i just cant see it, 1-0 to them
still keeping the faith
Well it's not sunny anymore (is it ever in Accrington?), but it's not raining, windy or cold. And considering the time of year, the pitch looks alright - not sandy or the ploughed field it's been in the past.
In a nutshell, there are no excuses today

And the team news - Oastler in at right back for Leadbitter who has probably been our best player for weeks. The problem is with the left side of the defence and the midfield so we change the right back. Seriously you couldn't make this up. What a massive result it would be if we could win today - instead with Nico and Macdonald playing we will surely get beat again.
Oastler and Mansell for Leadbitter and Easton seem to be the only changes. So it's:
Poke
Oastler
Saah
McDonald
Nico
Mansell
Lathrope
Bodin
Jarvis
Benyon
Howe
Our old loanee (who never played) Tom Aldred starts for Accrington

And I should add Mansell returns for Easton which is at least one positive.

At the kerb halt - look right - look left -look right again - if all clear quick march!
Yes you would hope so but sadly there isn't any evidence that it is going to happen. Having listened to Knill's pre match interview you could be forgiven for thinking he had just stepped out the cast list of Monty Pythons.

Strange question, but I don't suppose anybody knows of any online links to a stream of 'offline' radio, do they? Can't get the sports shows online, and I no longer have a radio!! :B

I wouldn't say that is the best line up, especially when we aren't playing Craig and we don't even have Macklin on the bench! The only positive from it is bringing in Oastler for Leadbitter, sadly Danny has been playing poorly recently and needs a drop.

God I must be mad listening in today. I'm sure I have more productive things to do today than listen to another (likely) defeat. The joys of following TUFC.
