Are GI selling the club
There has been a few rumours in the last 48 hours that GI or Riviera limited are looking to sell after there 1year take over of the club. If there is truth in this can we presume they have failed in there attempt to purchase plainmoor.

The way I read it was that GI were going to sell the club within a year of taking over from the start. Presumably they thought they would have the freehold by now, and would act as landlord to the club and its new owners. The implications of this are obvious.
As Jon said on TFF the accounts have only just been submitted but were probably drawn up months ago.

Well nobody really. Nobody could be found for love nor money until GI stepped in last time. Ideal scenario is that the club find a buyer that is genuinely interested in the club and it's fans, tells it how it is and sorts the mess out once and for all but that's not going to happen so although it's not a popular view, next best scenario IMO is that the club goes under and a new one is hopefully formed and we all pile into that from scratch.
If not then maybe go shopping with the missus on a saturday or do some gardening.

not quite true that Andy. there were at least two other interested parties that I was aware of, but it was always Philips intention to sell - or relinquish/give TUFC to GI.Yorkieandy wrote: 18 Oct 2017, 20:44 [highlight=yellow]Well nobody really. What I would be interested to see is weather the Chinese and Canadian consortium comes back in for us as they did sound very good and did seem very honestly interested in doing the best for the club but I guess we will have to see..
