Scott Flinders
Scott Flinders
I see Scott flinders has been released at Macclesfield, decent goalkeeper and only 30, H e played for Hartlepool for six years, would be a good replacement if Moore doesn't sign.

If we did sign him I would say it would be a good thing, certainly got the experience and had a good at career at Hartlepool. However he would be a controversial signing for some given what happened during his time at York.

Don't do it. Butterflinders is a total disaster area. Speaking from experience of seeing him play over more than a full season. The incident at York gave them the perfect opportunity to drop him for good.
Olejnik maybe being let go by the Greeks? Sure, he is league 2 standard but if he wants to stay in the area then where do you go after Exeter? :}
It's safe to say that his career seems to be winding down and he's dropping further down the levels. He even played for York FFS! He can do better than that at Torquay.

don't think he'd come to Torquay and to be honest hes gone downhill as a keeper.
at Barnsley he looked a good prospect and when he got sold to Palace I think his fee was "up to" £1m with conditions.
but its seems his career has dropped off. As Yorkieandy says we'd be better off with Olejnik!

It's doubtful but if you don't ask you don't get. It looks like Exeter may want to keep Pym and retain Hamon leaving Bobby to go and find another club and with him being used to the area, if he wants to stick around then you never know, he may take a pay cut. Unlikely I know but worth finding out and not beyond the realms.
What happened with Flinders at York?

He decided to not stand with his brother, Richard, knowing that he would be battling in vain

Flinders was suspendedat the start of the season for five matches by the Football Association after being found guilty of racial abuse during a match against AFC Wimbledon on 19th March 2016. He was also fined £1,250 and ordered to attend an education course. Flinders was swiftly suspended by York, being told to stay away from the club completely. In September 2016, the suspension was lifted by the club and Flinders returned to training, although he had lost his place in the team to new signing Kyle Letheren. Shortly after, Flinders was found guilty of racial abuse by the FA regulatory commission, having told AFC Wimbledon player Lyle Taylor that his wife "doesn't like your kind" , after he'd grabbed Flinders' testicles and goaded him.

Those are the FACTS in answer to a question; only a degenerate would use that as a trigger for more attempts to discredit the messenger than attempt to win an argument against the message.

Thanks, Merse. I'd missed that story, so was unaware of his transgression.

I don't know why people engage with this troll threelittlepiglets; frightened of revealing their true identity, when was the last time they made a contribution to the debate instead of just echoing someone else's contribution or abusing others.
