Not sure if I've missed it, but is the membership still going on this season?

I understand the New Board will not be continuing with the Membership Scheme.

I do feel that there should be some sort of Statement on the OS one way or the other.

A great shame that the old Board never gave the Scheme full backing.

There is a Statement on the Official Website today confirming the demise of the Membership scheme.

What I cannot understand is how the New Board thought the Old Board had dealt with this matter.

Surely if the previous Board had issued a Statement it would have been on the OS for everyone to read. To my knowledge no Statement ever appeared.

I read that as something else that the Previous Lot inferred had already been sorted (a bit like the June wage bill, which hadn't been sorted, as it happens); obviously the decision to end it was inevitable (but good news that the intention is to restart it) but the members hadn't been informed. They now have been, & the Current Lot continue with everything that still has to be sorted in order to make the shambles that this club had become ( presumably unintentionally) a sustainable venture.

well pissed off with that decision. considering stopping my £25 membership plus extra donation, but prob wont as the club needs my money, surely there arent that many members that an email personally would have been a better way of announcing it before the website, good job i'm a very tolerant, and generous, man!
