Jed McCrory
Jed McCrory
This has been discussed on the TFF and BPIR forums but I cannot see any mention here.
Rumours in the Herald Express link McCrory as a potential new owner and it would be worth a thread of its own to ensure that awareness of this character and his associates remain at the forefront of people's minds because if it is ignored, and these rumours turn out to be true, then a Hereford United situation more than likely awaits us, especially as McCrory has very firm links to Tommy Agombar.

I imagine this must just be a malicious rumour. If he takes over at Plainmoor I am gone for good. Can't be true.
If Phillips allowed this to happen then he would never be forgiven.

I don't believe it is a rumour-he has almost certainly expressed an interest.

If he has then the Board should immediately reject it, unless they haven't read about the goings on at Herefird and Swindon? I am gobsmacked by this news, it is like a big, black cloud.Behind-the-Gulls wrote:I don't believe it is a rumour-he has almost certainly expressed an interest.

Can we actually trust our board to be well informed enough to make any sort of decent decision in these matters and see off scoundrelous chancers like this McCrory? Can we trust them to make the right choices for TUFC, its supporters and the community and not just what is right for themselves? With Chairman Phillips at the helm my confidence and optimism is at zero.gullintwoplaces wrote:I imagine this must just be a malicious rumour. If he takes over at Plainmoor I am gone for good. I would rather that the club go into administration and start again than fall into the hands of people like this.

Google his name against Swindon, Hereford, Bristol Rovers. I don't think any further explanation needed.
Just received an email from TUST to say that Bill Phillips has told them that Jed McCrory is NOT in the bidding process.

Very good news indeed! Hopefully no bids at all from people preying on football clubs for their land development potential. Things are looking more hopeful today.Jerry wrote:Just received an email from TUST to say that Bill Phillips has told them that Jed McCrory is NOT in the bidding process.
