Please Mr Sturrock
Please please please be our new manager/coach/director of football. Anything to get rid of this clueless clown currently thinking he is in charge.
Before we all give up and drift away over the summer. Give us some hope to cling to, please.......

Can't do much worse. 4-5-1 from the word go today, we had no chance of scoring. Such negative tactics. Can't wait for the dross to be cleared in the summer and I hope CH is one of them.

Even if something is going to happen, no players can now come in, and we can't get relegated - therefore I would imagine CH will be in a job until at least the final whistle of the last game of the season.

If he is, be interesting to see the crowd for Saturdays game. Quite a few people (me included) have said they wont spend any more money to watch the same old crap performances this season.
Today was one of the worst performances I've seen from Torquay this season.

You can't be serious! Didn't you go to Braintree or see the home game against them? They were far worse than this afternoon.tktufc91 wrote:If he is, be interesting to see the crowd for Saturdays game. Can only judge on the games I've seen, hence why I said games I've seen (20 this season) and that was up there as one of the worst. Both Aldershot games have been poor.
No doubt Braintree was probably worse but at least we scored at home to them.

15 months ago, everybody was clamouring for Knill to be gone and for Hargreaves to step in and save us from becoming a laughing stock.....now we find ourselves in the same position.
I'm not saying Sturrock wouldn't do a better job but the man has health issues that haven't gone away and I would be very careful we don't end up in the same position we found ourselves in when Ling had to do one suddenly.
Just saying....

That will not be an issue Burnhamgull, Because of Paul Sturrock's health issues, there simply is no way he will want to or be able to take up the position as full time manager should it become vacant, I suspect he'll more likely be involved in finding a replacement for the current incumbent, or he (PS) will be working along side someone who will take care of the day to day team management.

I certainly hope so because this is deja vu.....

Shouldn't mention deja vu to often, Chris Hargreaves might try and sign him.

Every club will have a couple of players with bad attitude. We've had more than our share in recent times..goodluckgull wrote:Didn't Sturrock fall out with some players at Southend ?
