Sensible decision for both parties. I wish the lad good luck for the future, greater concern for me as a fan is, the number of players the club has promoted up from the youth team only to release down the line.

Thompson released, now Sullivan released - could CH be trying to free up a small wage of those who do not feature in his forward plans, to provide an opportunity in the transfer window ?

Perhaps freeing up money to give McQuilkin a contract to the end of the season?

Or to free up more to tempt Berry into signing? Speaks volumes that he has not signed whilst out and, no doubt, drawing no wage from his temporary terms.

Good luck to both of the recently departing former youth team players.
