Info for fans travelling to FGR on Tuesday

Post by FGR Goat »

Hello everyone,

We are looking to welcoming Torquay fans to The New Lawn on Tuesday night. You have made a fine start to the season so Tuesday looks all set to be a good encounter - well I hope so anyway!

I just thought I would pop by to remind you of some of the info you may need to know if heading north to Gloucestershire on Tuesday.

Parking at The New Lawn is now £4 per car. This does fill up although if you are at least at the ground 30 minutes before kick-off then you should be fine. There is street parking nearby although please be careful not to block any driveways or entrances.

You can pre-order your tickets online and have them sent to your smartphone or printed off before you arrive at the ground to avoid queuing at the ticket office. Here is the link. Make sure you select the away section: https://shop.forestgreenroversfc.com/fo ... Spectators

The Green Man is Forest Green's very own on-site pub. It will be open before and after the game. You will be able to catch the latest live sport on large screens around the pub while there is hot food on offer too as well as real ale being served.

Stroud train station is a few miles away so if you are travelling by train to the game then it is advised you get in a taxi once you reach the station.

Match programmes are £3 and are now packed to the brim with features and interviews. There is no club shop available at the ground although you can buy merchandise through the ticket office. And you can also pay the Supporters Club's hut a visit to see what they have available too.

That is just about it ahead of Tuesday. If you have any questions I will be happy to answer them. Apart from that if you are making the journey up the M5 have a nice trip and we look forward to welcoming you to The New Lawn.

It's a shame it is a midweek game, as it is certainly an away game I would have liked to have done.
