Just looking at some fixtures .. If we win this Friday then ideally we want Wycombe V Northampton to be a draw to leave us 5 points behind with 9 to play going in to Exeter away. Interestingly Exeter play Chesterfield away on Friday and Bristol Rovers are away at Portsmouth on Saturday.
We'll more than likely be relegated at Exeter however our fixtures include teams who have been as bad if not worse than us durning some part of the season .. Dagenham & Redbridge and Mansfied found form and got away from the relegation zone and are a bit far from the playoffs, considering the teams around them, I think the other teams are a lot better than either of them. Wycombe at home could be another I Was There moment (we've had a few of them). Can you imagine going in to that game a point or two off Wycombe, Exeter or Rovers? The fact that we're at home on the last day should be a blessing and seeing as CH masterminds away performances I think we have reason to be optomistic. Call me mad but I'm a Yorkshireman who supports a team 300 miles away
Priceless and welcome win yesterday, but it's to late, yes we have to play Exeter and Wycombe, but the three teams we would have to pass all play each other as well, 4 games left 4 wins take us to 51 points, Exeter need 3 pts, Rovers 4pts and Wycombe 5 pts and we're done for what ever we do, haven't included Northampton because I think they'll pull clear, and we're chasing the three teams metioned.
There is always hope until it's mathematically impossible. Personally I can see us having a reasonable finish with maybe a couple of wins and couple of draws which would see us finish on 47 points which obviously wouldn't be enough but would be more respectable than it has been looking.
I can see us taking Wycombe down with us on the last day of the season to make Plainmoor an even more depressing place to be that day for all concerned.
Like everyone else has said, it ain't over til it's over and let's face it you have to be an optimist to be a TQY supporter in the first place but we'd have to win all our remaining games. Unlikely but not impossible.
Would certainly guarantee a full house on the last day though!
No, I'm saying it as a supporter who bought a ST last year and watched rubbish. A supporter who bought a season ticket this year and has watched rubbish.
A supporter who next year will be buying a ST elsewhere.

27/08/18 - Time to step back from this shambles and focus on things in life that make me happy. TUFC doesn't.
The result is a crumb of comfort, something to hang on to.
I want to believe CH has lucked in to finding an effective XI, but I have no confidence in him when he opts to bring on Stevens. Don't understand why he is preferred to Chapell, Thompson and even Bodin.
If the same starting XI starts against D&R then I will have a little more confidence. We need so much to go our way its unreal.
