they won't go!

Post by doogull »

After all the talk and all the speculation benners and ellis will still be torquyauy players at the end of this window, the reason why is simple we cannot replace them I know buckle has his moments of sillyness but no manager in his right mind would let them go without some sort of replacment and he can't buy without selling so he will have no time to move and the price will be inflated so all the rumour mongers and the 'in the know' people unless you KNOW don't post as it is useless and not amusing.

Benyon will go today. Swindon are desperate by the sounds of it, plus have oodles of cash.

If we get a good price for him, so be it. We need the money, he needs to progress and he is out of contract come the summer. Would dearly like to keep O'Kane and Ellis though.

Yep the back of the hearld seems to confirm Benners is off,and as pointed out Swindon have the cash, and yes Benyon does need to progress should this move be tied up today i wish him well.

I have long held the view that should any of our players go in this window the likelyhood is they would be replaced with loan players in the first instance, hopefuly we will see the right quality of player coming in,even if it is only short term.

Damn. Cant see where the goals will come from now if he goes (unless Bucks has someone tucked up his sleeve as a ready replacement).

Benyons off? If he is, then I have mixed feelings about this. Yes, he's our top scorer, but £150k+ and I'd bite their hands off. He tries, but lacks physically, in my mind.

If he's off, step forward Billy Kee to find his feet and bang in the goals!

it seems that swindon have other targets and benners is quite low down the list otherwise this would have been done and dusted
