Starting XI
if you could pick the starting 11, with all players fit, what would it be?
Poke
O connor - Pearce - Downes - Cooper
Bodin - Labadie - Lathrope - Chappel
Wilkinson - Goodwin
subs rice, o brien, tonge, rudge, Harding, benyon, cameron
I think that team could potentially be very good, young team, lots of pace from the front 4, could do some damage! also with the arrival of Harper on trial, that could add a bit of experience through the centre!

If Bodin and Cooper were fit then that would also be the team I would start with next week.
It would be nice if we could see whether Wilkinson or O'Brien are up for it, but as it's an important game (as are all from now onwards) I doubt they'll both play.
Goodwin playing closer to goal would be a good move too I think.

I haven't seen wilkinson play, but I'm gonna take an educated guess and say he's probably better than Stockley and Benyon. O brien came on as a late sub against Northampton and got done for pace by a player who had been running on that surface for 90 minutes, so I can't see him being our saviour!

Cruise for Cooper who is injured and Mansell who played well at Chesterfield for Billy who is very unlikely to be fit.
This is a must win game and i hope that every player gives his all.

I think you could be right but I do fancy some pace through the middle up front.portugull wrote:Cruise for Cooper who is injured and Mansell who played well at Chesterfield for Billy who is very unlikely to be fit.

I'd say he's our best striker at the moment.gullno4 wrote:wilkinson isn't better than Benyon, this is worrying!
