Whilst I still believe in Knill and Brass to get us up the table I would love Knill to tell us fans just what is going on behind the scenes. This would put an end to many of these threads which cast doom and gloom.
This honesty would be helped if David Thomas and Radio Devon asked more challenging questions. If Torquay were a Premier club the media would be on Knill's back 24/7 just like Holloway at Palace this week. Seems the local media don't want to rock the boat.
Questions should be asked eg 1. Why do we only perform for 45 minutes? Either good in the first half but not the second or visa versa. 2. Surely Hawley has been given enough chances. 3 Why isn't Benyon given more starting opportunities? There are plenty of other questions the Manager should answer.
Having said that all teams go through a rocky patch per season so ours is nearly over!
Honest Appraisal

They can't tell us what's going on Nick because they haven't got a bloody clue themselves.
I'm surprised at Brassy because knowing him from his days at York I was 100% confident we were getting a real old school football man who would get everyone into shape and well drilled.
I would appreciate it if I was told what HE actually did.

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

I can guarantee you brassy is alright and has a good relationship with the players, the problem lies with knill. Lingy and Brassy would have been a fantastic management team they would have been a perfect combination and respected by the players.

Cheers supergulls, I didn't think he could have been THAT much affected by being down in Devon!
Good to hear we've still got the old Brassy.

When was the last time a Premier League manager got asked a question like that? Better yet, when was the last time a PL manager gave a meaningful answer?
It's all well and good wanting answers to those sorts of answers, but the chances are, it's all very technical and boring. You want Knill to either say "yup, Hawley is shit, I shouldn't have signed him and I'm allowing his signing on fee to be deducted from my salary" or you want him to say "I think Hawley has done well and Benyon is a ****". Neither will happen, so it's a waste of a post match question, which is the sort of thing which, if it happens too often, is liable to get a sports reporter the sack.
I'm very much afraid that every club has these sorts of questions to be answered. Many have asked, no one has ever got a real answer.
Matt.

If the manager was asked these questions I doubt very much he would reply. If he did then he would lose the dressing room immediatly. Players are not very friendly towards any of the management spouting on about what should be kept behind closed doors.
Yes we want to know but we ain't gonna find out. Unless one of them does a whistle blowing session and i would think he would be out the door straight away.
