matchday programme subscription

Post by bixieupnorth »

just wanted to know if any of the other exiles have subscribed to TQ1 this season?

i have but i havent received the wimbledon programme as of today, a very disappointing start. i've emailed pete legg who was my contact when i started the sub, but no reply yet, so assume hes away on holidays or summat

if anyone else has received theirs can you please post, and if andrew candy sees this can you please investigate this for me??

yet another thing that the club has mentioned but not very actively promoted, the deal was £100 per season for all programmes from league and cup matches, with team sheets included as a bonus, were supposed to be posted out on the match day morning but obviously something has gone wrong with mine

easy to find on OS here http://www.torquayunited.com/fans/tq1/, but again you wouldnt stumble upon it!

i'm doing mine by increasing my membership scheme DD accordingly, i'd have thought a pdf copy for a quid a pop might have been an idea too, every little helps they tell us!!??

Peter has been off sick for the last few days and will address this on his return so apologies for the delay but you have not been forgotten.
Thanks,
Andrew

Royal Mail lose a startling amount of mail each year. I can see this not being the fault of the club.

I've mooted a PDF programme previously, I can't actually remember the outcome.

programme finally arrived via a circuitous route, my area of sheffield is called norton lees, but they'd address it as norton, leeds!! right postcode but no mention of the steel city!!

unbelievably the postage was £6.55 for next day delivery, disgusting royal mail, totally disgusting!!

brilliant programme tho, i'd urge any of you who havent subscribed to it to do so now, great read indeed

the second tuesday after a saturday home game and once again the programme hasnt arrived with the postman just now

can you confirm if it was sent out, and if so that the sheffield address was used? i appreciate that pete was off sick the first week and then the letter was addressed to leeds by mistake. but for it to be delayed again isnt too good a service

i was told that the programmes arrived on the friday, day before the game, and that they would be posted out on the saturday, so i should receive it monday or tuesday at the latest, has this arrangement changed?

let me know if its been sent andrew please, have emailed pete just now too, but replies seem quicker thru here??

anyone else received theirs, or has no one else taken up the sub yet?

Considering my dad has posted me the programme we got on Saturday and it arrived with me yesterday, it shows that it can be done quickly!

damned royal mail letting the side down again then, they charge thru the roof and consistently fail their customers

i was told the programmes would be posted on saturday, is that the plan eventually?? 2nd class on saturday, or first on a monday, as long as i beat the dog to the door!!

thanks for reply once again andrew, tell pete not to bother responding to my email now cheers, i'm sure hes got better things to do with his time!!

its wednesday after the third home game of the season, and, you've guessed it. my programme still hasnt arrived! if i didnt love this little club so much i'd be cancelling my subscription and asking for a refund. luckily i do love it so i'm prepared to wait a little longer to see if it does arrive.

please investigate andrew.
