Got to agree with you though Matt, it is a halfwitted thing to go and do when we're in 7th place despite me personally voicing my displeasure on here at some shocking performances this season. I can only see it done in anger and frustration after the game and perhaps the bloke feels a bit daft now on reflection. Martin and the players certainly do need to put in a decent performance tomorrow though regardless of result.

Coley certainly suggested that Lingy should "get out now" on a separate thread. Most of us (except, notably, Brucie) have replied that this is: not a good idea/a juvenile comment from somebody who only comments negatively/a barking mad suggestion from somebody who appears to be a Sh*tty fan trying to wind us up (delete as appropriate). Interesting that Brucie often appears to agree with Coley, are they by any chance related?

Martin Ling states that the suggestion that he should resign was made to him after the game, and I guess that this might have been too late in the day for Coley, as he would have been safely tucked up in bed with his teddy bear, nice and early before the next school half term.
