£5 adults / £1 kids@ Wycombe on Saturday

Post by numpte »

I don't think this applies to away fans but guess where I'm going to watch the match on Saturday.

Suggest the away end might be empty, after all, why would anyone want to pay £22 when the entire rest of the ground is paying a fiver.

I thought this was not allowed? Away fans can not be charged more than home fans?

Didnt we fall foul of this a few years ago?

Update - This does not apply to away fans after calling them. I said thats not very fair and he said no unfortunately not. I said I'll get one on their website for the main stand, he said don't wear any colours or jump up and down when you score. I said your not very confident then!!!

I'd rather go in the away end but I'mnot being ripped off for the best part of £25 so i've just spent £6 on their very good ticket website (can we have one like this) getting one for me and my son. Otherwise it would have been £30.

Disgraceful.

I would suggest that all of us just go into the home end in protest. An empty away section would send a message thats for sure.

Disgracful but it happens. I'd rather we ruined it on the pitch for them to be quite honest. Going to get my ticket today as its £20 in advance.

Disgusting, and i thought this was outlawed by the FA? Maybe a few emails to them, copying in our club and Wycombe might help?

Accrington was completely free a few years ago and they allowed us in for free that day.

Asking for trouble, I'd have thought.....
Fate: A police dog called Bryn bit Torquay player Jim McNichol and the time while he was receiving treatment was added onto the end of the second half.

Yeah, I hope someone just notify the FA. It must be illegal.

I have researched this and there is a rule in the FA code.
Rule 31;2;11 states “Discounts or special promotions (in each case for one match only) made available to supporters of the Home Club must also be made available on a similar basis to visiting supporters provided always that each Club shall be permitted to designate four (4) matches per season as ‘local promotion’ Matches where this regulation shall be deemed not to apply.”
We are one of the 4 promotional matches. This rule does not apply to Premier league clubs where they have to offer the same price regardless.
Wycome have designated our match as one of possibly 4 where they are trying to encourage more local fans along.I suppose we could do the same and charge away fans more ouselves.

And what would that do for our reputation? Are these same fans who have possibly come down for a weekend away to spend a bit of money likely to return? I think not.

We (4 of us) have already bought our tickets (at Plainmoor). Can we get a refund of the difference? :@

Andy C. Maybe you answer this question for me?

I have delved into the hat and the rabbit in there has said yes.
You must take the full price ticket to the Wyxombe ticket office on the day and they will exchange the full price ticket for a £5 one and refund you the difference.

There A little bit of magic. No guys, you don't need to bow. Just make out a cheque to my offshore account.

If any fans want to go from the Bristol area or South Wales, We can all meet in Yate and I can take you all up in the car.
