I see Danny has been given a squad number for the first team. Second year pro who is a winger/forward I believe.
He has been impressing and scoring goals for the youth team - noticeably with a hat-trick in the most recent match against Swindon youth which we lost 4-3.

Another exciting talent to be brought through by Geoff Harrop. Well done to both – Danny has been handed the number 31 shirt.

I wonder if someone (supergulls may be) could give a little more info on him?

Well, you got to say they are giving the youth a chance this year, which is great. just hope we have the right blend of experience to go with these young uns. Didnt Crewe have 10 home grown players in their 1st eleven for a match last year so hopefully we can emulate that in a couple of years.

I know some of you may hate this comparison but we really need to look at Exeter City's set-up when it comes to developing youngsters.
Many of their young players help the club for a good 5 years before moving onto better things, where they turn a big profit. Tisdale, every few years appears to throw his youngsters in at the deep end and basically sees if they sink or swim. They've got a decent set-up for a club their size and definitely get more than their fare share of money out of the deal.

I like Danny I've watched him a few times he's got a nice turn of pace and a great attitude for work rate, he did score a hat-trick on Saturday but two were pens although he took his first goal very well.
