Dagenham & Redbridge v Torquay United Mon 2 May KO 3PMm
United travel to Dagenham for what is a huge game for the Daggers who sit in 8th place and will go all out for 3 points.
We have nothing to play for except pride and therefore it is difficult to believe we can win but Dagenham's Home record is quite poor with only 9 wins from 20 Home Games.
The Daggers looked a decent side in January at Plainmoor so I suspect they will prevail 2-0.
Just a reminder about next Saturday 7th May when we play Chesterfield at Plainmoor. KO is 12.30 not 3pm.as the Match is being televised. Last Home game of the season so lets all turn up to support the team. COYY.

Have people bought tickets in advance.
I didn't think we needed to but their website says we do and deadline for buying online was 12.00.

Not a brilliant game and a draw probably fair.
Both sides had good chances to win it in last few minutes as both pushed for win.
Superb goal line clearance from Ali Omar who had another good game.

Watching the highlights of our last 2 games we created a good number of chances but we lack what MUST be our No 1 priority for next season.
We need a proven 20 goal a season striker. I know every club wants one but when you look at 37 year old Danny Wright as much as we like the guy he is over 15 years a 10 goal a season striker. Not prolific enough.Asa Hall and Joe Lewis have each scored more goals than Danny!
When Gary talks about a marquee signing or two I hope he means a real striker with a proven record.
