Torquay United AFC are auctioning the special edition Poppy shirts worn by the United players to mark Remembrance Day in the FA Cup 1st round match against Crawley on Sunday 8th November. All profits from the auction sales will be donated to the Royal British Legion. The auction will run until November 23rd 2020 at 3.30pm. Bidders are to email [email protected] with their name, phone number, and bid details.
Updates regarding the latest bids will be provided via the website Monday-Friday at 4pm. Please note that there will be a £50 reserve on each player’s shirt. Just an update - looks like the club have made a very good amount of money for a great cause in the Royal British Legion with the shirts.
I was lucky enough to win Danny Wright's shirt which I have now received from the club and I have to say the quality of the shirt is excellent.
