I stress I am glad County have survived, but can someone explain to me how a consortium comprised of people heavily involved in the betting industry, can possibly be seen to satisfy the right and proper owner test for a football club. Especially as footballers are banned from betting.

Easy answer to this, the right and proper persons test regards football club ownership, has never ever been either, right nor proper, probably never will be.
