...that now, more than ever, I wish I could afford to go to games? Before you jump on me, this is not a 'can't afford', this is I literally have no money, so cannot go to games. I managed to get to see the City match at home, and whilst the second half was utter dross, it was still enjoyable; I spent most of my teenage years as a season ticket holder and had to endure some truly turgid performances, and yet defiantly screaming the team towards a horrendously fought point on a wet, windy Tuesday (all the while listening hopefully for the scores of teams around us) are some of my fondest memories.
That said, it seems like our performances are beyond depressing, and without even the heartening qualities of fighting and attacking the opposition. I think all we can do is hope beyond hope that we get a miracle working motivator in who can coax the necessary points from our team and rebuild at the end of the season.
Is it strange...

You shouldn't apologise for being skint madgull, most of us are mate. I can't afford to go to some games but beg, borrow ( but not steal ) to get the cash together so i can go whenever i can. I'm going to the Wycombe game next tuesday at a cost of £200 which i've saved for for 3 months. I expect a sh*te game as usual and a loss but i love going to watch Torquay regardless and if we end up in the BSP i'll still be there whenever i can get.
You are right though, we need someone in or we're going one way.

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

I've been to a grand total of 4 TUFC games in 4 seasons madgull, I really do feel your pain.
What's more depressing is that in those 4 games, I've only seen 3 goals and 2 of those were for the opposition.
