Not heard a thing, but your post made me wonder whether we have any scouts these days, not a subject to which I've given any thought. In recent years our signings seem to have been a result of our managers' personal knowledge and contacts, but in previous times we scouted for players, bringing in the likes of Lee Sharpe, who went on to play for Man U.

Heard nothing but wouldn't be surprised, i think more than ever before clubs are looking to the non league for players. Obviously some more succesfully than others but it's a cheap easy source of players. For every Charlie Austin there is a Ross Hannah. But no doubt there are still gems out there waiting to get picked up.

If true will be interesting to see who comes out on top of the 3 clubs. Nice if we got another one ahead of Exeter after we beat them to the signing of Conner Thompson!
