No, you're not the only one. I've been banging this drum on twitter for ages. That said. with his injury record it's a risk for teams to take, especially given that he apparently still wants top money. Also, he's pretty settled where he is so he's really limiting himself to teams in the north-west and maybe the midlands.stevegull wrote:Michael Owen is said to be weighing up his options. After much thought, it's now a straight choice between Loose Women & Homes Under the Hammer.
In all seriousness, am I the only one who thinks Owen could still score goals in the Prem? If (and it's a big if) he stays fit and gets into a starting XI, then I don't see any reason why he can't pop up with 10+ goals at least. He might not be that quick anymore but you never lose that 'fox in the box' mentality.
Good lad! There are some sane people around!!happytorq wrote: No, you're not the only one. I've been banging this drum on twitter for ages. I am prepared to bet you 5 english pounds that Owen scores at least 5 Premiership goals this season.austrianandygull wrote:Owen isn't bothered one bit about playing football IMO. Which is a shame because he is a talent and a threat just a shame that he prefers money over playing even though he's minted. Another greedy c*nt. He won't even score 5 goals for Stoke because he's just not interested in the game anymore.
