Transfer deadline day.

Post by Plymouth Gull »

Thought I'd make this thread for any transfers or anything today. I know we aren't expecting any but I'm sure there'll be some moves involving League 2 sides that we'll want to discuss so keep it all in this thread.

I've seen that Southend could be heavily weakened today, talk of Kane Ferdinand and Ryan Hall leaving for Posh, while Bilel Moshni is still being spoken about. Apparently Celtic were interested.

I'm just glad that the players we sold have already gone because were we to lose them today it would have been a real killer.

I hope this isn't true, I've got Kane Ferdinand in my fantasy team.

Jordan Bowery has moved from Chesterfield to Villa, supposed to be around £500k.

I wonder how many times Owen has phoned his mobile from his landline; just to check it works.

Redknapp will make a big purchase today... maybe a ride-on lawnmower, or a fridge. Just for old times sakes.

Just panic-bought a pot noodle for £20. Deadline day is infectious.

Mistaken sighting of world class full back at Villa. Turns out it was Hutton dressed as Lahm.

Scott Sinclair in shock deadline day request - He's asked for some pillows to sit on the bench.

New face coming to Man City - Tevez and Lescott are fighting over who gets it.

Thank you, and good night.
Maybe one day, Carayol will find London...

Couple of stinkers in there, but that's how it works with my humour!

On another note, I'm pleased we've got our deals done early; agents at the end of the transfer window know that they can ask for 'silly' money and get away with it. Berbatov to Fulham would be a good deal though.

Carayol to Middlesborough.. OK it was ages ago, but how near is that to London????? (looking at your sig. stevegull..)
Fate: A police dog called Bryn bit Torquay player Jim McNichol and the time while he was receiving treatment was added onto the end of the second half.

Berba is a great signing for Fulham. He'll score a few. Also think Maicon is a good signing.

Kane Ferdinand --> Peterborough (£500k)

I see Rochdale have signed Bobby Grant off Sconthorpe. Good signing at this level, did well at Accy when he was there.

I saw a tweet from Southend's official account starting an initial fee of £200k for Ferdinand. I can't believe the add ons are worth £300,000. Just goes to show, once again, just how badly we allow ourselves to get robbed.

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
