I wonder if M.L. is looking for a replacement for Eunan in Scotland, he has good contacts there & brought Bobby down to us last year.
I read that television & sponsorship money for Scottish football is being discussed now that "the old firm" matches are not possible. The " knock on" effect is that many of the Scottish teams will have to cut playing staff as little money will filter down to the lower leagues. According to the article, the better players who are the high earners, will be the first to go as clubs trim their budgets.
Looks like a topping shopping idea to me!
Rangers (Glasgow) ....Knock on?

seems as though BBC Alba will be showing some of the matches including Rangers climb up through the leagues. They showed the Cup match on Sunday against Brechin City and instead of a 300 odd crowd they had 4,000. Some of the money will filter down and 3650 extra fans at £10 a times is way more than many expected plus TV money. That's probably 25% of their entire annual budget.
Always Look on the bright side of life
