Yeoman and Palmer ...
Go out on loan to Tiverton Town: http://www.thisissouthdevon.co.uk/tufc/ ... ticle.html
Good news - Buckle is very good at bringing young talent through so hopefully both will have a longer-term future with the club. Nurturing young talent is the only way clubs such as ours are going to survive.

I live near Tiverton and heard tonight that Bucks was reluctant to let these two go to Tiverton. Whilst he wanted them to get first team football, he felt that they were ready for Conference football, not two levels lower.
Tiverton are bottom but one in the Southern Premier and really struggling. Mark Saunders and Hedley Steele took control of the management side of the club last week after Tivvy let Chris Vinnicombe go.
I think it was their reputation more than anything that changed Bucks mind, plus the fact that Tivvy are up against the sections top teams in the next few matches (Cambridge City, Salisbury City, Truro City and Chippenham Town)
Good luck to Ed and Ashley, I will keep an eye on what is going on. One things for certain the current squad could play all season and not score again, so it's their chance to shine against some good footballing teams

Good to see these young professionals going out on loan to get games, competitive match fitness and experience.
Am I right in saying that when young Yeoman was on loan to Bideford last season he played a reserve fixture (St.Lukes Cup v Parkway) at the same time as being on loan ?
Would this same arrangement be in place for our two lads while at Tiverton ?
I haven't seen anywhere the length of the loan. If the loan period overlaps with our reserve games will the above question apply ?
If our squad is depleted by injuries/suspensions both can be recalled ?

Both Yeoman and Palmer named in a very strong Reserves squad to face Swindon Reserves this afternoon at the County Ground.
