Good news IMO - brings experience and versatility. Will add great competition for places and allow a greater degree of rotation and resting of key players when needed.
Welcome to the club Craig.

This is great news. Hopefully the first of a few signings of a calibre that can increase the quality of both the squad, and the first XI when called upon.
Well done Lingy!
Well done Lingy!
Great news, I think Craig will be a quality addition to the squad.
I'm pretty sure that Lingy tried to sign him last summer as it was certainly rumoured that we were in for him but whether we couldn't agree terms or whether Lingy couldn't find room for him in the squad or the playing budget, it matters not as he has finally got his man this time around.
The only question is over his fitness but it doesn't appear to be a problem and he certainly has the ability. The only question that remains is how long is the deal he has signed. I would imagine just a one year deal.
Welcome Craig.

yeah theres def no mention of the deals length but i'd imagine a year, not even the end of june and the squads coming to shape nicely
still keeping the faith
No reason why it shouldn't be longer than a year contract IMO, has a history of being one of the fittest at the clubs he has been at. Graeme Souness signed for Rangers as Player/Manager at 33 and didn't hang up his boots until 38!
Suspect it will be a 1 yr with a review of this mid season. Remember he was injured for the majority of last year so cannot see us risking a 2 yr deal.

Another shrewd signing by Mr Ling. He knows him well the same as Saah so we all have faith in him and hopefully we stay injury free.
Welcome Craig and look forward to seeing you in a T UFC shirt in pre season.
Well done Lingy again.

It is a 1 year deal, according to the Herald website ....
"The 33-year-old former Dundee United, Livingston, Leyton Orient, Swindon Town, Southend United and Dunfermline player has agreed a one-year contract, following a two-week trial at Torquay at the end of last season."

Great to have Craig onboard even though i admittedly know nothing about him but from what you guys have been saying he'll be a good addition to the squad. Welcome to PlAINMOOR Craig!
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
