Fate: A police dog called Bryn bit Torquay player Jim McNichol and the time while he was receiving treatment was added onto the end of the second half.

Ye Gods and little fishes. I am indeed glad it wasn't. Heaven forbid we get Ballotelli. After all we would end up saying Why us!

We'd get an extra 500 on the gate, easy. Plus a lot more media interest. a friend of mine has Michael Essien's phone number. I'll see if he can have a word.

Wouldn't make an iota of difference if we had another 1500 on the gate. He gets (I hesitate to say earns) way more than that so we would be bankrupt in a few months. or even weeks. I bet he gets something in the region of £100,000 a week. we would need 5,000 on our gate at £20 a throw to even pay his basic let alone the NI and insurance etc.

Balotelli would play for free if we told him we have lax firework laws and a santa outfit he could use.
