Yeah i was there that night at Moss Rose. It's been a while then since a hat trick was bagged by one of our lads. Howe tomorrow will rectify that i'm sure.

Oh and full marks to you Scottish for making the journey down to the DVS on tuesday then AGAIN for Burton tomorrow. True dedication ( with a bit of Scottish insanity thrown in too! ). It must cost you a fortune, almost as much as Bix loses in the bookies every week! You're not a drug dealer are you? ;-)
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Just read the Brewers website and according to that John McGrath is out and Nathan Stanton is doubtful , both in defence. I've always thought these two weren' t too bad so their defence now must be so depleted that if we can't knock 4 or 5 past em then there is something not right.

Oh Ye be carefull of what you think may happen. I know of many banana skins laid taking us for mugs when we have prediected a landslide victory. Just wish for a victory and then gloat so non of us have egg on our mugs when the full time whistle is bloweded.
As for me. I am afraid I have to bow out tomorow. A goodly dose of flu, sickness, sore throat and ear drums banging on like a big base drum (oh boy do I have a headache with it) has laid me flat most of the time and I cannot even stay right by the computer all the time watching the play as it is cast out on the Forum. if this is what you had Matt I can sympathise.
Untill i arise from my sickbed ( being laid low with a common virus for a change instead of all my other problems) God bless the lads in Black and Yellow. May they keep a clean sheet and score lots of goals. and have a safe journey up to Burton and Return. and come on Manse you beaut. Score one for me please.
Always Look on the bright side of life

I think McGrath plays in midfield, and scored an absolute peach in the game up there last season? Either way, with them two out, as well as Kee and loan signing Lee Lucas who is apparantly quite handy, they look in worse shape than we do.

Looking forward to it - nice drive across the countryside, good parking, McDonald's nearby, terracing. It's all there!

Jeff, you make every away game sound like it should be on a tv travel show. I love it! I can just see Judith Chalmers on Wish You Were Here plugging the delights of an away trip to Burton, talking about the town's brewing history and highlighting the many activities to do whilst scoffing on a big Mac in the McDonalds up the road from the Pirelli. It doesn't get any better my friend! Have a nice drive up and enjoy the Maccy D's brother!

As bad as Burton are, this has banana skin writtem all over it for me
Just the odd goal in it
Would not be shocked to see a dour 0-1 again
Fancy we will see more of Jarvis after Dinger talked him up mid week.
I will put my neck out on a Jarvis goal to get us the 3 points

Come on you gulls!
At the kerb halt - look right - look left -look right again - if all clear quick march!

Getting the train down from Leeds with Gazbleedsgull and a few of his friends.
2 away games in a week, what a treat! I haven't done this for many years!!
I'm still buzzing from the victory at the DVS on Tuesday. 118 away fans apparently. I was going to say they were completely out sang- but it wasn't much competition to be fair they were silent for 90 mins.
I'm going for a 0-3 win for the Gulls :) with goals from Mans, Howe and EOK (would like to see a goal from the Irish lad on paddy's day!)

My cousins live in Burton and have done for many years, but they are undecided which end they will be in :/

Couldn't believe our luck when I found out Burton Beer Fest is tomorrow too! Defo going be putting a fair few away :)
Love away days.

See you there Scottish Gull, impressed your travelling down again.

Random thought just occurred to me - Burtons home kit is yellow with broad black stripes and black shorts. Our home kit is yellow, our away kit is black with yellow flashes. Button to wear their away kit (white and blue) despite being at home? Or do we still have the white kit from a couple of years ago as back up?

Don't know why, but I have this horrible feeling that Burton will win this. I know they're on a horrible run of form and we're on a fantastic run, however how many times have you seen a team without a win in so many games beat one of the in form teams....

Hope Martin Ling's team can prove me wrong. COYY!!!

About to set off for this one..cannot wait! Think it'll be tough, but if we get an early goal I can see us winning by 2 or 3. Eunan and Jarvis to score (Howe as well if we get 3). Been to the Burton away game twice now, once in the BSP promotion season (Danny Stevens cracker and we won it 1-0) and that insane game last year when we drew 3-3 after being 2-0 up. Always a good day out!
