461; amazing away support for the Gulls as always.
To be fair to Crawley fans though, Swindon's admission prices for away supporters are obnoxiously OTT; shouldn't be allowed.
AGREED but if supporters carry on paying it then they will keep charging it. I'd love to see a boycott of Swindon along with Gillingham by all away supporters
They suggest we parked the bus, but it really did seem to me that we were happy to let them have possession because they simply weren't threatening. For me, parking the bus involves hangin on for dear life in the face of sustained attack, not simple standing and watching the opposition huff and puff and get absolutely nowhere.
We did have plenty of other chances to score, Eunan went for the top corner and Brown tried to throw it in, the little Irish fella also fired narrowly wide when through. Danny had a chance or two as well, the BBC show that we both had the same number of shots on target, which, given their possession, really isn't food enough from them.

Matt.
They had 3 chances we had 1 really. Stats will say otherwise because they include everything but I think overall in the game there were 4 moments in the entire game that could have been goals. Obviously the goal itself, 2 saves by bobby and Saah's late header. Anything else is bogus really as it SHOULDN'T be beating the keeper. I agree with your main point though, other than those 3 moments (2 self inflicted) I never thought they'd score, they never hurt us and for all the long throws and lobbed in crosses they never went anywhere. it was a scrappier game than I was expecting on the way in but I'll take that every time for more 1-0's. This is where Stats can be a bit mickey mouse, I remember the Argyle game and they had about 12 shots on target according to the stats, what they don't tell anyone is that they were from a combined total of about 850yards and Bobby didn't have to move to pick any of them up.
I am going to say something which I really mean, who gives a flying fork what Cheltenham, Crawley, Swindon, or what ever fan of what ever clubs thinks about us, or says about us.
You do not allways win prizes in football, for playing pretty total football, nor do you allways win prizes for playing ugly "park the bus" football or route one football, you win because the team is prepared right, the game plan/ tactics are right, and more importantly the mental strenght of the players is up were it should be, as per last night.
Football is all about results, results make points , points make prizes, our team have won 7 in a row, and 12 wins from the last 15, no one can take that away from us, and its why we are joint top, so Cheltenham fan's can moan all the hell they like...fork um.
As one Cheltenham fan wrote on there forum, ..he said us Cheltenham fan's are in danger of coming across as the wettest fans in league 2, not wrong is he.
Quite true Royal, regarding the stats not always ringing true. Think Eunan might have done better with the one in the second half that he fired past the post, but aside from that, I make you about right.
