Rotherham is a difficult one. The Don Valley Stadium is primerally an athletics stadium, but is the home of Sheffield Eagles Rugby League club, but they rent it from Sheffield City Council, its not their ground. Sheffield FC have also played there but have moved on due to cost. So its not really a non league ground.
And while we're on that subject, does anyone know why Rotherham have been told they must return to the Rotherham Borough Council area within 5 years (I think) to prevent the scenario the MK Dons caused with franchising out of their area, but West Ham and Tottenham have been battling for the Olympic Stadium yet it is surely outside their local boroughs and probably a damn site further from their current stadia than the Don Valley Stadium is from Rotherham? All the London clubs surely dont come under the banner of 'London Borough Council' so can move anywhere they like within that area? How unfair would that be?
Enlighten me if you have the answer please.

That question came up when I was up there on business last year and it is a very sore point among the locality and supporers alike. It seems a bit of one rule for one club and another for the big boys.

There are definately at least two more as I thought Macclesfield were a league club at the time, so I stand corrected, sorry!
Remember it is either clubs who have played home league games at the grounds of either non league teams or grounds who were primiary used for other sports

Maidstone United - who played there League games at Watling Street, Dartford.

That is the one I never thought anyone would get, Maidstone did indeed play league football at Dartford's old ground.....one to go, pretty obviously I would have thought

AFC Wimbledon - who play at Kingsmeadow (ground share with Kingstonian FC).

I did not include AFC Wimbledon as they purchased the leasehold on Kingsmeadow long before they became a league team. Whilst Kingstonian still play there, they rent from Wimbledon now.
The final one is Bristol Rovers, again, who moved into and played league football, at the memorial ground whilst it was still in the Rugby clubs ownership.
