did you not read the part after i said it was clever?
Yes I did.
If he is found guilty, I will not feel differently. I won't think 'blimey, I wish more people had joined in now'. It doesn't work both ways. If someone is found guilty of a crime, but treated as innocent until convicted, then they will be punished. If someone is found innocent, but accused and tormented up to that point, then that can never be forgotten and never taken back.
That's me done. Gullscorer is right, must think of Friday. Plus I've had a mince pie so all is well with the world once more. [/quote]
well i'll agree to disagree then, enjoy your pie
We're going down for it, David has to go to an induction course at Newton Abbot for his apprenticeship. I'm supposed to be going on a course at Conisbrough (However you spell it) on the Saturday, I might be able to give you a lift back

I rest my case your honour.

Not often 'Cunny' gets a mention on this site Dave. I take it you mean Conisbrough near Doncaster? I grew up playing footy round those there parts y'know. Conisbrough Royals were the worst ever team in the history of football. Worse then Exeter in fact! There is nowt there now though a beautiful castle with the oldest intact Norman keep in Britain but the rest is as a defunct mining village usually is now. Avoid the pubs mate and avoid Denaby Main unless you value your life!! Don't want to put you off going to the course though mate.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
Its not too bad there mate to be honest there are worse places i suppose. My girlfriend comes from neighbouring Swinton too so i'm all too familiar with it. You'll befine mate. There is a nice bar at the Crookhill Park golf club i believe and the Pastures Lodge at Mexborough / Denaby is perfectly fine for a meal and a pint in convivial surroundings. Anywhere else and i wouldn't recommend it! OK, i sound like a snob i know.
