What about Wayne Brown, very recently of Bury, currently at 'Supersport' in South Africa. Always thought he was decent, and he's a massive bloke too!

That was thanks to Football Manager that I came up with that name! Always played well against us for Bury. Just found this too - http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528, ... 03,00.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - says he's back in England looking for a new club.tufcbrett wrote: Now thats not a bad shout at all. Yep could be an option.
I'm still expecting it to be a keeper from Scotland though because of Ling's connections.

Mark Howard? Released by Aberdeen, and Ling may have come across him when Howard was a youngster at Arsenal.

I was meaning massively wide! Don't know why but I always that he was of the larger frame, but looking at pictures of him it doesn't seem the case.royalgull wrote:not a bad shout re Wayne Brown, very experienced good keeper at this level. Wouldn't say 6'1 is massive but he's proven in this league with Hereford, Chester and Bury.

it's Allan McGregor isn't it, didn't fancy Villa as Birmingham is a hole couldnt' wait to get out of Glasgow and down to the Bay. The offer of cream teas and chants of 'Sort it out McGregor' was just too tempting.
