I'M GOING. I'M GOING I'M GOING.

Post by Glostergull »

Yippeeeee! at almost the last minute My wife and I have had. A. an offer of spare seats to Old Trafford. Thanks to Yellowmonkey. Thanks mate. we will be forever gratefull. and B. an offer of 2 spare tickets for the match. Thanks to JamieE. Thanks mate we will also be forever gratefull to you. and even got someone to run the shop so my wife doesn't have to shut it.
I can hardly wait. The excitement is almost uncontainable. In don't care where in the Stadium I am sat. I won't even worry how much my hands hurt it will be worth it. (at least it won't be because of a heart attack he says touching a lump of wood) Northumbergull doesn't have to worry about me lol. I am going and nothing but nothing is going to stop me now.
If anyone had any doubt about how excited we all are just ring me. I can't sleep thinking about it. I lie awake at night dreaming of promotion. My wife tells me to go to sleep. I can only say. " I can't. I'm too excited" I am like a kid who is opening his christmas present and birthday presents all in one go. Like watching his son being born. Like watching his bride walk down the Isle. Oh maybe a touchy subject with one or two of you there lol

We haven't been able to afford many trips down to Plainmoor this season or away for that matter. I did go to Shrewsbury (Thanks again Diamond girl You are a true gem) and with ill health I have had a bad year or two. But it is all coming toghter for the good right now and I am full of hope. I will buy a new Playoff final scarf . A matter of tradition in our household that we get at least a cup final scarf. Nice collection now built up.

The shop will be decorated in yellow and blue. and no one but no one will be in any doubt who we support or what will be happening on Saturday.
I suppose I ought to calm down a bit before the big day or I will fall asleep through exhaustion but it's not me. I am a glass full. not even half full. Nothing is impossible. Well maybe my wife getting a sense of direction but I can still have hope. lol.
Here's to one big day.. here's to the team. here's to promotion. and finaly. here's to the fans of the yellow army. to whome I say. you are without doubt the greatest fans of any team I have ever come across.                      . :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

Sorry there Clemy
It's the Old alzhiemers you see my dear fellow. said to er indoors the other day i did "I cant remember if I am losing my mind". "Don't worry dear". She said. "I will remind you" . Of that I am sure!
I do get confused with all the different names on here.
I have got the offer of the tickets and noted your PM. I have an offer of a ride up so thanks whatever. I did wonder if a coke came with it though lol

Glostergull I'm really pleased that you are going.

I am really excited and very, very lucky to be able to go. I work and stay in London during the week. My flatmate has an open invitation to come and stay with my family and decided about 4 weeks ago to come next weekend ago booked her train ticket. So a severe mental lapse concerning the likelihood of getting to the playoff final blew my chances of going. She has no interest in football so I was resigned to not being able to go to OT. On Tues eveinng I jokingly asked if she would like to go to OT on Saturday. She said yes. So now I'm going AND my daughter will come down from Lancaster Uni to come to the game with us. Has anyone had more luck than me?

I hope my tickets arrive in time.

Great to hear it, will hopefully see you up there.

Sorry I didn't reply to your PM. I actually did but I recalled it as my plans changed 3 times tonight!

Well done Andrew. See you there. I'll give you a bell and sort out, getting back to you, your unwashed shirt, empty lunch box, pkt. of paracetamol, pkt. of crisps (I didn't really eat them!!) and chocolate bar that you left in my car after our trip to Shrewsbury!!!!

See you there mate and keep calm!!
