Tonbridge Angels v Torquay United, March 16 3pm
Aaron says 'on our day we can beat any team in this league' -problem is Aaron we never are on our day. Daft thing to say really as every team can say that. We need to see evidence of Downes influence on the defence soon and surely Jarvis , Stobbs, Ash/DOA should be able to rouse themselves to cause Tonbridge some problems and find the net once or twice.

Just another reminder. The roads will be horrific past Basingstoke, maybe before. If you’re travelling up you need to keep south. The diversions in place will be gridlocked.standupsitdown wrote: 14 Mar 2024, 13:19 A reminder for anyone travelling that the M25 is closed east of the M3 junction this weekend. The diversion will add a lot of time to journeys - as will alternative routes from Torquay.

If we manage a1-1 draw, it may well be viewed as a point gained.
Unfortunately not 3 points as we desperately need at present but a start !!
So it's 1-1 ...for me

Tonbridge 2 - 2 Torquay
Made the trip up this morning (I'm fairly local) and looking forward to a positive performance by the mighty gulls ....
Form away from Plainmoor has been ropey, but am hoping events this week have further galvanised the boys .... am quietly confident.
