Judge us after the next ten games

Post by Stickingitin »

This is it.
Ten games to go, no point changing the backroom staff if you want to carry on the way the games are going and no point changing the backroom staff with ten games to go.
The judgement was meant to be after the first ten games not the last.
Now the club find themselves where there has to be major signings because if not we know exactly where the CEO is aiming.
The cards are on the table and ready to be revealed, we can only hope that we have a joker to play.

Plenty of jokers, many stealing a living here and claiming to be footballers. Most unfit and unable to improve with the coaching they are given.
End of season clear out cannot come quick enough

Agreed, there needs to be an end-of-season clear out as most of the 35 who have appeared this season are unfit to be termed 'professional footballers'.

However, that leaves the major problem of recruiting a much better quality player irrespective of which league the club will be playing in. I consider that to be unlikely given Torquay's location and, what appears to be, an insufficient budget.

I've said it before and make no apologies for repeating it, but the club needs a quality scouting team. Peter Johnson is an abject failure who is to scouting what Mae West was to chastity!

Torquay v Wrexham last game of the season is going to be toxic!
Torquay relegated , Wrexham promoted.

As Russ Abbot would say:
I love a party with a happy atmosphere!
Life is like TUFC. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. :goal:
