ticket sales for shrewsbury
having read the shrewsbury fans forum ive seen they are updating there sales and i must say its impressive very close to a sell out for them. does anybody have any idea how many tickets we have sold. I believe our allocation was around 1200ish. im going with 3 other freinds and ive seen plenty people saying they have brought 4 5 6 even more than that so wondered if anybody had any idea of a running total.

I feel very sad now that i've let the club down.........i've only bought one!! Haha! I don't know clemy but i rang up this morning to get my ticket and the bloke said that there were plenty still available. Basically if only about 3500 can be bothered to turn up for the home leg on a saturday then i doubt very much that more than 1000 will go to the away leg on a friday night.
well yea i didn't think we would make 4 figures, hoping somewhere north of 600 group us in together make a racket, we shall see, their only about 300-400 off selling all there tickets out. and as for letting the club down i wasnt there on saturday although i was in darlington at a family funeral so i think i had a good enough excuse, i did watch the game on sky though!
I would have bothered to make a 400 mile round trip if it wasnt on Sky.
I am tempted by going on Friday but as an exile, how do I get a ticket? Can I reserve one and pick up at STFC?
Of course, regardless of Sky, I will be bothered to go to OT, should we be fortunate to get there.

I live in Chesterfield and i rang up this morning and bought a ticket over the phone. They said i can pick it up from the shrewsbury reception before the game. They can send you the tickets through the post but they charge a fiver, quite why it costs that much to send a bit of paper first class god only knows. Ring up mate and ask how many theyve got left.

I think numpte was under the impression that you must be a season ticket holder or live in devon in order to get a ticket. I was just pointing out that i live 300 miles away in chesterfield and managed to get a ticket for the torquay end as i'm a torquay fan who doesn't live in torquay nor attends many home matches.
If anybody from the club is reading this a little article on the official site stating the running total at the end of play each day would be ideal, sure it wouldn't take much to even update it mid way through the day but i'll settle for 1 update per day

In our last home match, Oxford had to take tickets off general sale once we had sold out to avoid Salop fans buying tickets in the away end. So I presume the same will happen this time, or at the very least there will be no buying tickets for the away end at the Meadow. Hope that helps.clemy1989 wrote:numpte might be worth giving shrewsbury a ring see if you can pay on the gate up there as cant see us selling over 1200 tickets
