I have just heard the sad news that Peter Darke has passed away. He played for all three Devon teams, and Married Tommy Northcotts' daughter.

Coming just a week after Tony Scott died, another ex gull has gone.

With no fixture at Plainmoor until 23rd October (unless we get a home cup draw), I hope the Club pay their respects to both with a minutes applause at the earliest opportunity - it should have been done on Saturday.
