Rather glad we are out of this competition, if I am to be honest. I enjoyed the game though - good cup tie stuff - was not concerned about the result. My concern is that we are quite a mis-shaped outfit at the moment - Full back as centre half - midfielders as full backs, lets hope a few off the minor injury players are back soon. Think this shows us the value of players like Nemane, Moxey, Warren and the like.
1. Our second string team and ridiculously patched up defence matched Woking. Gives confidence for the more important league game.
2. No obvious injuries or sendings off.
3. Andrews' free kicks.
4. As far as I could see we scored a perfectly good final minute goal.
5. GK did okay although flapped at most crosses, luckily not massively tested. Don't imagine will see him again.
6. Wynter came through whole game strongly.
Concerns:-
1. Strikers. Street adds nothing. Waters infuriates with number of offsides. Only really works when Waters can just stay in the 18 yard box. All in on Boden delivering now really as the rest just aren't enough to win the league.
2. CLE still looks off form. Whitfield also nowhere near early season form.
3. Really miss Nemane.
Time will tell but probably a good outcome overall, we got a game in and avoided a blank week but can now focus on the league.
Thought Woking were piss poor to be honest, however with that scratch team thought we did well and were unlucky to lose.
Absolutely farcical decision to disallow that goal from a set of clueless officials. With two or three choice players back Wokimg won't get that lucky twice.
No distractions from the league now, no frustrations of a Wembley cup final that we’re not allowed to attend and hopefully we’ll never have to play in the Trophy again.
Agree with knight mare gull , considering the eleven we started with one nil is very credible. I thought the keeper played well for the majority of the game, Whitfield and Evans are knackered and in ordinary circumstances would be given a fortnight off. Waters is not a stand alone forward and while I agree his chances to conversion rate is appalling he does need support up front, No sending offs and no red cards , all in all a successful afternoon and thank god we can say goodbye to this mickey mouse completion.

F*cked off by this comment.
Whits has played every game and CLE nearly has.
TBH, they both should have been rested for this game.
Stating the obvious, but he's injured....
Agree with the opening line - a full - or even near starting XI wins that easily.
F*ck it - move on and concentrate on the League.
Up the Gulls.

Agree SNW,
The last couple of games LHE has had to play wide right - thats not his position at all
and without nemane we are so lopsided with Whits on the other, therefore ever "winger" play is coming down his side, its just not possible
Hate to have raised your blood pressure SNW - as I see it we are saying the same thing, you (quite rightly) pointing out the cause re CLH and Whitfield and me the inevitable effect.
