Postponed matches
On Tuesday four National league games were postponed due to Covid. Not all teams were suffering probably just four of the eight. Why can't a future match between the fit teams be rescheduled for that night? With no fans involved the logistics should be fairly simple at short notice. As the season drags on there is going to be a horrendous bottleneck of fixtures probably leading to some teams playing three times a week or even the league being cancelled Fulham moaned loudly about their fixture with Spurs being rearranged at short notice but it didn't seem to have any effect on their performance.

Not all teams in this division are full time, although the majority are, and the availability of players, at short notice, may become a problem. This problem would be even greater in the NLS and NLN as most of their clubs are part-time. Also, the unaffected clubs, may, already have played each other!
The annoying FA Trophy will also have an effect as league games are postponed from after Saturday to accommodate it.
Then there's the cold weather forecast particularly in the north . Let's hope we don't pick up any more injuries on Saturday.

Perhaps we should think of this as our midwinter break!! No, hopefully we can keep playing and get the season finished (at least to a point where, like last season, it was deemed enough games to promote teams on a points per game basis.
At least it will give us time to get some of our injuries cleared up. Also apart from signing a centre forward on loan who looks promising I see Adam Randell has been secured for the remainder of the season, which in my mind is excellent as I think he is a super player who makes the game look simple( the sign of a class player), reminds me a little bit of Alex Russell!

Even more annoying now as tomorrow game is now OFF and we have to go there on Tuesday night.
Not particularly surprised. We have to get back from Boreham Wood after the game. If we can play it Tuesday it seems the better option.

Almost certainly will be this Tuesday as they have no game now due to Barnet Covid. Good for the team to get a proper fixture in otherwise its another 7 days .

The Boreham Wood site confirms it’s rearranged for Tuesday.

It's a 7.00 kick off so don't tune in later
Postponed due to bad weather “FORECAST!” Really? They call it off 24 hours in advance because the weather looks like it might not be conducive? Having just checked the forecast it looks fine for today! There really is no hope.

It seems that the weather forecast was correct for a change. I live in Hertfordshire just over 20 miles from Boreham Wood and at 6am this morning there was a good covering of snow. It is now sleeting and I assume the ground is also frozen.

I also thought it was a bit premature calling it off based on a forecast that actually wasn't that severe. I live 7 miles from borehamwood and lo and behold I wake up to find the lightest flouring of snow on the tops of cars this morning.
No doubt 3pm today is going to be more playable than a frozen winter's evening a few days later so I do wonder what exactly is going on here.
