Dickson - Did well 2nd half, few tough challenges and broke up play well, final ball wasn’t the best but it’s early days. A class act on his day and I felt he was the difference in this game.
Davis - Made some great runs down the left early on in the first half and most of the second half, drove his goal into the back of the net and showed good composure on the ball, will be a real threat down the left especially against part time tireing defenders.
MacDonald - Made a cracking save 1st half which he tipped over the bar, played excellent as a sweeper keeper and looked comfortable with the ball at his feet, although he could of played the ball out from the back rather than kicking it out of his hands all the time.
Niate - Bullied there strikers all game, very awkward looking however a solid acquisition at the back, not a great talker and tonight he needed to be, especially without essuman whom I think is the leader in defence. Very solid in the air. At one point was seen wrestling Ryan Brunt and did well to keep him quiete when he came on.
Keating - Second half cameo however is a dream to bring on when your either chasing a game or need a bit more enthusiasm, wouldn’t say he’s our best footballer but probably has the biggest heart and really started to shake up there defence when he came on. Should start over Reid every time!

Ryan Dickson. Deservedly voted MOTM.
Shaun Macdonald.Vital first half reaction save.
Liam Davis. His first goal for United which he deserved on another excellent performance.
Jean Niate. One of my favourite players and another terrific game.
Kyle Cameron. Great signing has real quality.
Wonderful atmosphere tonight. 2,150 gate only exceeded by 4 Clubs in the National League Chesterfield, Hartlepool, Orient and Wrexham.

MacDonald - promising keeper who commands his area and has the makings of a good shot stopper, but is still young
Dickson - thoughtful passing despite the poor performances around him, especially 1st half.
Davis - generally competent, pleased for him to get a goal.
Keating - always an enthusiastic runner
