It's what what we deserve. Been poor all season and never had a good spell
We've been poor for a few seasons with very little to cheer. Like when SUnderland finally got relegated from the Premier League, we deserve this.westyorkshiregull wrote: 17 Apr 2018, 20:55 It's what what we deserve. Been poor all season and never had a good spell

Clubs like Sunderland, Torquay, Chesterfield, York, Hartlepool et al are all the same. There is an underlying cancer, boardroom disinterest and negativity at the clubs stemming from gross mismanagement and these clubs have lost their sense of direction. They are rudderless in essence with nobody interested in taking control and trying to arrest failure.PhilGull wrote: 18 Apr 2018, 09:38 We've been poor for a few seasons with very little to cheer. The common theme with clubs like the above is that you can accurately predict their deterioration because nothing changes. The clubs chop and change managers, they chop and change players but yet nothing ever works because the culture behind the scenes is one of apathy and disinterest. Like a kid who gets hundreds of presents for Christmas and then gets fed up of opening them eventually. Their owners are tired of owning the clubs or are owning them and letting them fester because they aren't interested anymore. This rubs off on the manager and players and fans can spot it a mile off and that's what is so sad. Because if you can see it in advance then something can be done about it before it's too late.
But fans don't have any say and therefore have to carry on knowing deep down that the club are only heading in one direction until something changes behind the scenes, which often it never does.
This Torquay relegation has been coming and it's been obvious to spot 2 or 3 years ago but fans have been powerless to stop it.
I said on here about 2 years ago that the Chesterfield relegation was coming because the similarities were there. Basket case club off the field, owners who have got fed up and want out, a culture of negativity and apathy. About 4 managers, loads of different players who could never quite turn things around and there you go.
If things don't change at Chesterfield they will be at risk of successive relegations. It's obvious to anyone. Just like things didn't change at Torquay and another relegation has happened.
Which is why i'd like some fans to be more wary of next season because if things still don't change next season there will be a big risk of another relegation. Even in NLS.
Change and a sense of direction and passion has to come from the top and that's why the all the clubs mentioned including Torquay are still going to continue their slide. Hartlepool have new owners so we'll see what happens there but at least it's a change and they have a chance.
What chance have you got with Osborne and Owers? Absolutely none.
It's criminal really.

Didn't help us did it? We have had 4 different sets of owners during the last 5 abysmal years and got steadily worse under each set.Yorkieandy wrote: 18 Apr 2018, 10:15
