A rare piece of good news. Thankfully, Lavercombe (Torquay's own Flappyhandski) has gone back to Wigan. Hopefully, our new keeper will be able to collect crosses and judge bouncing balls correctly, because Lavercombe certainly couldn't.
FStrangely enough this was a name I thought of when I heard we needed a keeper short notice.
No idea if he's any good, but good luck to him. He'll need it, and with Clarkes and injury sounding quite a lengthy one he's no doubt got an opportunity to secure a longer deal

NOTE TO O/S EDITOR: Dorel played for Stade Rennais B team and not the first team. Bearing in mind the first team get tested against the likes of PSG and Monaco and the B team get 'tested' against the likes of Fontenay Verdee Foot and Chartres then i think it's a pretty big piece of information to get wrong.
Dorel has barely played competitively at any sort of decent level so he'll fit right in at Torquay.
He could be anything this chap. Hopefully he'll turn out to be the business.
