Torquay United vs Boreham Wood predictions
Think we would do well setting up as below
--------------------Clarke
--Higgins, Anderson, McGinty, Chaney
----------------- Lathrope
-----------Young ---------Klukowski
---Haworth --- Pittman ---------Gosling
Or even dropping Klukowski back in line with lathrope pushing Young to a centre attacking midfield role in a 4-2-3-1

Second home game of the season and hopefully our first three points. How about a 3-1 win for the Gulls. Have happy memories of Torquay v Boreham Wood of yesteryear. The only time I have been involved in Matchball sponsorship Torquay beat Boreham Wood 5-0 in the FA Cup.

Never mind a prediction for the Boring Wood match Wivel, what's your prediction for the Seasiders (Whitby Town to the uninitiated) hopes this season? I note, like Torquay, they failed to score in their first game of the season. But a 1 - 0 away defeat is not as damaging as a 3 - 0 defeat, even if we scored more goals than the opposition (and even Brucie concedes that the one goal scored by a Gateshead player was yards offside !).

Torquay 2-1 Boreham. Keating and Pittman. I'm feeling optimistic...I'm expecting to be let down.
3 - 0 Torquay, today our season starts!!(Forever the optimist!!)

2-1 Gosling and Keating. 1-0 at Half time then get a second then Wood score to make it nervy last few minutes
Not Haworth I think-Nicho said he wasn't match fit on Saturday;only putting him on so early because of the injury to Reid.TUST_Member_Rob wrote: 14 Aug 2017, 14:18 Think we would do well setting up as below

I think he'll have to start with Keating-few other options with Lee and Reid out.

Whitby Town, like United, are suffering from a complete and total lack of skilled forwards. Ours are crap. We have sold our best player (a five figure fee) and not replaced him. Sound familiar? From promotion hopefuls to relegation candidates. We play the newly relegated Stalybridge Celtic tonight (our first home match( and I predict a 0-2 loss. Our defence is o.k.

I agree, especially given that Reidy and Lee are out, and Haworth not yet fit, i'd go the same as tranmere
Clarke
Higgins--McGinty--Anderson--Chaney
Kuklowski--Lathrope--Young
Gosling
Gray--Pittman
Giving us Harworth and Keating to chuck on if needs be.

Drop Anderson and play Klukowski at the back. Anderson has been the most weakest of links in the last two games.TUST_Member_Rob wrote: 14 Aug 2017, 14:18 Think we would do well setting up as below
