MOTM - Dover
A big three points and what sounded like an excellent performance from many players.
You have to pick up to five, in order please.

LRT - probably his best performance in a Torquay shirt. Used his famed athleticism well going forward and won a series of good header at the back
Reid - well taken goal, look purposeful
Sparkes - most consistent player this season, deserved his goal
Ward - feisty, determined, did well with his assist for Reid to score
Verma - good technically, showed great strength to hold on to the ball in the build up to the first goal

All entitled to our opinions, but if that's meant, a bit unfair in the above post.

Ward - was brilliant and looks a very handy addition
Richards - tirelessly very good today. Owned the midfield
Sparkes - Very good game. Great finish and great delivery.
Reid - worked hard and good goal.
Young - was decent today
First time I stuggled to narrow it down to five! Verma as usual very dependable and thought LRT was decent today.
Moore frightens me everytime the ball comes into the box! Needs to work on that.

Richards I don't normally like him but today he showed me that we have missed him.
Sparkes another consistant performance
Blissett getting back to his best.
Ried worked hard and was what was needed in the side pace.
Ward going to be a good player for us.

Reid. Put himself about and scored a crucial goal with a sublime finish.
Verma. Another polished performance and helped set up the first goal.
Ward.Good player. Lovely reverse pass in first half should he could develop into a very good player.
LRT. Much improved performance. Well done Nathaniel.
Richards. So committed. You can see he really hates to lose! Courtney you deserve to be Captain.
Excellent performance from the whole team.

WARD Class in both feet, vision and effort.
LRT Why oh why does he not play like that every week
SPARKES Little more composure and he could have had a hat trick
REED worked well today, hopefully more of the same
RICHARDS Does the boring bits well, everyone should put in his shift

1) Richards -Rock solid performance - often criticised, but he play a captains role today by leading by example - faultless.
2) LRT - another player often criticised but his best performance to date using his athleticism to taunt the opposition.
3) Sparkes - Like his direct football style - a no nonsense player, delivers the ball well and has an eye for goal.
4) Ward - will contribute a lot to this team with more games under his belt.
Verma - This player is just solid both physically and technically. I expect to see him show up on every MOTM selection.
Congrats to the Dover players, thought they put in a corking shift today - made for a great - if nail-biting - game. Pity we have scared off around 500 potential supporters with our previous dismal displays. This game was worth the money - really enjoyed it.
