Do the Club owe Gaming International any money?

Post by portugull »

Now the deal is off could the Chairman advise fans if the Club has a financial commitment to repay any loans to Gaming international?

I have a good reason for asking this question.

It may affect how much I contribute to the Players Fund as a one off payment.

The PF is, always has been and always will be ring-fenced for the manager and strengthening his squad. We could owe GI £1,000,000,000,000,000 and your fiver would still be used to pay Ronald MacDonald Huth his week's salary.

According to the btpir forum a condition of the GI loan is that if it is not repaid by January 2017 then the club will be handed over to GI.

Do GI live in dream land. How they still exist as a company is stagerring, every deal/involvement they deal with seems to end in failure. So failing to pay a 50k or as mentioned a 120k means they control the club come January is bizarre. They are a joke and thank the Lord they failed in there attempt to buy Torquay.

That sounds ominous. Like the school bully saying I'll see you after the bell.

Love the comment by 'StillPav' at the foot of the article :

"StillPav 5:54pm Wed 3 Aug 16

Presumably Torbay Council were impressed by the new stadiums that Gaming International have built in Reading, Milton Keynes and Swindon.

Hold on..."
