A few weeks ago my wife and I attended a Colour Rush Run in Teignmouth.
The event raised a reported £40,000 for Rowcroft Hospice.
Runners each paid £20 to enter plus numerous Sponsorships. Over 800 runners took part..
Rowcroft does wonderful work but it set me thinking about a Colour Rush event to raise funds for TUFC.
Am I mad or does anyone think this idea would be a winner for United?

You're mad
Hah, seriously. I doubt there is enough interest in the local football club to give money to it and not get anything in return. It's hard enough convincing the people of south devon to pay for football, so expecting them to pay for nothing seems like a hiding to nothing to me.

Yep, I'm in the you're mad camp also.
Agree with Happy, colour rush events can be popular but normally run in aid of some very worth while charities, can't see too many wanting to do one in aid of TUFC, however you could organise one and see.

Thanks Guys.Clearly I am mad! The Teignmouth Colour Rush was such a huge success and great fun but I agree it was for a very worthy cause.I fully accept we are not all "footy mad".
