Angus McDonald - a rock in defence - won everything thrown at him
Dan Butler - great energy for the whole match
Nathan Smith - not only is he our best defender, he is now our top scorer (equal !)
? Rees - the sort of player you don't notice much but he did his bit tonight and played some neat passes and won some important tackles
? Racchi - looks a class player but I thought he faded a bit in the second half
I would have included Iffy Allen if he'd been on the pitch longer. He certainly made a big difference but I wonder how effective he'd be over 90 minutes ? Durrell Berry was another close contender for me.

Probably the best Defensive performance I have seen all season. The only time welling looked threatening was that 35 yard wonder strike onto the crossbar.
Iffy was an absolute game changer, had he been on the pitch from the start he probably would have been no1 in most of our MOTM.

Butler - a defensive and attacking performance worthy of the FL
Smith - a solid defender and a goalscorer (should have been 2)
Allen - aka Rodney Jack / Greased Lightning / Hadron : a mesmerising performance
Berry - injured, but linked up well with midfield
Racchi - what a crucial role he plays

Butler. My MOTM.
Allen. This little lad is greased lightening. He looks like he weighs about 8 stone.
Smithy. Mr Consistent.
Angus. A powerful performance from the Captain.
Racchi. Very impressive. He looks a very good signing.

Sorry torq2u just seen you also described Iffy as greased lightning!
