Nathan Smith - solid defending against opponents trying to rough him up
Malachi Lavelle-Moore - put in a real shift this afternoon
James Hurst - another good performance
Alex Fisher - good player - works hard
Angus MacDonald - just about gets my fifth place for getting in some vital blocks, but his distribution today was poor. Too much humping the ball up in the air, Angus !

Hurst My Man of the Match
Smith A fine performance. Reads the play so well.
Butler Saw a lot of the ball. Several low crosses into the box eluded Fisher by inches.
Fisher. Always a danger. So close to scoring. Developing very well.
Spiess A much better display.Great tip over from a rocket of a header in first half.

Carmicheal (owned the midfield for the first 40 mins of the second half)
Hurst (our best attacking threat)
Smith (assured at the back)
Butler (a couple of fantastic balls across the face of goal which should have been tap ins)
Spiess (save in the first half was quality)
(Thought Lavelle-Moore was tidy but both he and Fisher need to gamble more as they never really looked a threat)
Ex was a real liability yesterday.
