This information came out far too late for most of us to pick it up, or to make arrangements/re-arrangements; should have been issued well before the weekend..

The Torquay Youth players were also giving out leaflets advertising Saturday's game in Tesco, Newton Abbot today.

At least it's good to see the squad out and about making some publicity for the club. That alone surely deserves a few more supporters attending the games at Plainmoor.

Been a noticeable increase in PR activity from the club recently-Kelvin Thomas obviously thinks we should be doing more in that respect.

I saw two groups of youth teamers handing out leaflets in town too yesterday. I also popped along to the harbour as I was in town anyway and don't get many chances to see the team. It wasn't really well attended which was a shame but was nice for those who were there. I ended up in a squad photo and had a quick chat with a few players and Chris Hargreaves. 3.30 on a Monday probably wasn't ideal for anyone not on holiday, at school or retired though.
Yes a good initiative but indeed not enough notice and difficult timing.
Anyway, let us hope that this is the start of a little more "bonding" between the team/management and the supporters.
They could of course make more of an effort to come up to the Gulls Nest after games!
