Carlisle United fans raise nearly £1500 via the predictor

Post by Square Pass »

This the post from the TheCumbrians.net site http://thecumbrians.boards.net/thread/3 ... ht-raising

Carlisle United fans are currently only £19 short of raising £1500 for their club, my self and Torquay United have tried promoting the site to you but so far it's been extremely hard. Currently only 15 Torquay United fans are actively playing the predictor and so far have raised £405 of which TUFC have received £300 see link http://www.torquayunited.com/news/artic ... 56965.aspx

We need around 300 extra fans playing to keep the game viable for next season so please can you all have a look and get involved.

Game Week 27 kicks off tonight with a few FA Cup replays. Manchester United v Cambridge I guess being the pick off the bunch. So if you haven't had a go, get yourself involved by having a free go. Everyone starts each game week on the same score of 250 virtual credits for free. You use your virtual credits just like cash and place them on your result prediction. The 3 fans who accumulate the most credits by Sunday win £200, £100 and £50 respectively. It's fairly simple idea.

Games tonight:

2.8 Fulham 3.2 Draw Sunderland 2.3

1.1 Manchester United 10.8 Draw Cambridge United 40.8

2.3 Sheffield United 3.2 Draw Preston North End 3.0

2.5 Barnsley 3.3 Draw Oldham Athletic 2.6
1.9 Livingston 3.4 Draw Alloa Athletic 3.3

Anyone fancy Cambridge at 40.8?

Anyway I hope more of you have a go it's good fun and the fans that are playing it are giving it great reviews. http://squarepass.org/predictor.html

Good to see a few more Torquay fans playing this week:

leecufc backed up last weeks 2nd place (£100) by going one better this week by taking out 1st place and £200! Well done. Below is how he did it.

During Game Week 27:
96 fans played the Predictor and while a good handful of the fans are happy to play with the free 250 virtual credits we still managed to donate £103 to clubs. Carlisle United have now £1506 so I'll be transferring their 3rd £500 instalment today.
44% of the 377 predictions were winning predictions which is a big improvement from everyone!

Noticed a few more Torquay United fans taking part so good to see a bit of competition!

Scores have now been reset to 250 and GW 28 kicks off with Bradford City taking v Milton Keynes Dons tonight.
